“Cuse on the Quad” and “New Quad Walk” offer exciting opportunities for fans

‘Cuse on the Quad and the Toyota Fun Zone return for the 2024 football season with new highlights to help Orange fans prepare for kickoff.

Located in close proximity to the JMA Wireless Dome on the Syracuse University campus in front of Hendricks Chapel, this is a pregame event for fans of all ages. “Cuse on the Quad” opens three hours prior to kickoff for each home game.

The biggest new addition that is a must-see for fans is the NYE Auto Quad Walk. Head coach Fran Brown and the Orange will walk through the quad for 2 hours and 15 minutes before each home game, giving fans the opportunity to cheer on the team as it heads into the JMA Wireless Dome.

The team will be dropped off near Hendricks Chapel and follow the route below to the stadium.

There will be a wealth of entertainment at each game, including more live music as well as video screens showing games from other cities or ESPN’s College Gameday at noon. The Orange Pregame Show presented by Learfield will be broadcast from the Quad and a highlight of game day – the Pride of the Orange, SU’s marching band, will perform on the steps of Hendrick’s Chapel 90 minutes before kickoff. The ‘Cuse Spirit Squads will also be in attendance, as will student-athletes from other teams with whom fans can meet and interact.

There will be a wide variety of food and drink options available before kickoff. Food trucks from Carrabba’s, Limp Lizard and Toss & Fire Pizza will be on site. Additional food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase.

Syracuse Athletics and the ‘Cuse Athletic Fund also offer premium options to their fans. All ‘CAF members can purchase hospitality passes, which are on sale now and offer an exclusive tailgate opportunity on the Quad. Food and beverages are included with your purchase, including two alcoholic beverages per person (of legal drinking age). These hospitality passes are available in limited quantities and cost $300 per season or $42 per game. They can be purchased here.

Bring your young Orange fans to Otto’s Kids Club Zone where they’ll have the chance to design a poster, get their face painted by the dance team or even take a photo with Otto the Orange.

Other stops include the “Cuse Uniform Showcase,” where fans can take photos with dolls in the uniform look of the respective game, available merchandise, sponsorship activations and additional activities from game to game.

New restroom options are also being added this season. A restroom trailer will be available for fans outside HB Crouse Hall for the entire duration of “Cuse on the Quad.” Fans can also scan their ticket at Gate N during the first hour before gates open and then return to the Quad. Once the gates open two hours before kickoff, a “no re-entry” policy will apply.
