After more than a month away due to the Olympic Games in the French capital, the Paris Musketeers finally returned to their stadium, Stade Jean-Bouin. On their return home, the Musketeers booked their ticket to the playoffs with a 15-12 victory in overtime against the Madrid Bravos.

Paris running back Chris Vuombo commented on the victory:

“We were very excited to play at home again. We gained some new fans and saw them mingling with the old fans and we got the win in front of them.”

The hard-hitting tailback was able to score a crucial touchdown and move the chains in a game that resembled a flooded swamp as it poured with rain throughout the day. The veteran ball carrier scored a touchdown and ran for 55 yards, giving the Paris offense a much-needed boost on a field where it was extremely difficult to move the ball.
