Surya is looking to hire smart, savvy and experienced sales professionals in various locations across the country to service and grow the portfolios of interior designers, decorators and furniture retailers. Depending on the territory, we offer the opportunity to represent one or more Surya brands including Surya, Global Views and Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams. These positions are perfect for individuals who have a strong drive to succeed and want to contribute to our next level of growth. The ideal candidates are doers with a strong customer focus who are able to understand our clients’ business needs and present relevant solutions. The Account Executive’s primary responsibility is to partner with clients and ensure their long-term success while maximizing revenue and growth. A background in sales for the design or furniture channel is desirable.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

At least 4 years of experience in field sales and/or account management, industry experience preferred.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Excellent relationship building, communication and presentation skills.

Must be able to attend/work at certain key industry trade shows.

Reliable means of transport that you can use for work.

Ability and willingness to travel.

Knowledge of the Microsoft suite; experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
