Equality Toledo moves into Planned Parenthood building

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Equality Toledo will move into new office space in the Planned Parenthood building on Jefferson Avenue in Toledo.

“We are thrilled to begin this new chapter of our journey,” said Brent Rabie, executive director of Equality Toledo. “This move not only provides us with a modern and accessible space, but also strengthens our partnership with Planned Parenthood. Together, we can better meet the needs of our community, especially those most vulnerable to discrimination and health inequities.”

According to a press release from Equality Toledo, the new office space will allow them to host more events and offer more resources. The new space will also allow them to work closely with Planned Parenthood on certain initiatives.

“At Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio, we value each patient and their unique identity,” said Erica Wilson-Domer, President and CEO of PPGOH. “We look forward to welcoming Equality Toledo to our Toledo Health Center as we continue our work together to provide essential care and education to the LGBTQ+ community. Together, we are committed to creating a safe haven where everyone receives the support they deserve and building healthier communities.”

To celebrate the move, Equality Toledo is hosting an open house on Friday, September 27th from 6-8 p.m. To confirm your attendance at the open house, contact Rabie at [email protected].
