WATCH: A virtual road safety meeting

The following video is a virtual traffic safety session brought to you by Injury Prevention Resources.

The video shows a number of different traffic accidents that can happen when drivers are not safe.

According to the video, more than 26,500 people were involved in traffic accidents in Wyoming last year, and 3,481 people were injured or killed on our roads.

The video claims that many of these people would have survived if they had been wearing seat belts.

So what can we do? It starts with You. If you don’t take the time to buckle up, you might regret it. And as always, never, ever, always driving while drunk or under the influence of something.

IPR is committed to the mission of achieving “zero deaths and zero injuries on our roadways” and recommends following the simple things to survive on Wyoming’s roads, such as wearing a seatbelt, driving attentively, and never driving under the influence of alcohol.
