“Stunt went too far”: Youtuber Norme doesn’t sleep for 12 days in a row in the livestream

Norme, a YouTuber from Australia, recently surpassed the current World record for the longest period of wakefulness. During the Live streamHis brother Don used various tactics to help him stay awake, such as splashing him with water or forcing him to get up when he became overly tired.
However, viewers become increasingly concerned as Norme loses consciousness, hallucinates, and speaks incoherently during the show.
A significant number of viewers felt that the challenge had gone too far and flooded the chat with messages urging Norme to abandon the attempt for the sake of his own well-being.
Some people are even trying to track down Norme’s whereabouts so they can send medical help. Despite these concerns, the live stream continues unabated.
It is important to note that this particular type of world record is no longer officially recognized by Guinness World Records.
The last person to accomplish this feat was Randy Gardner, who stayed awake for a total of 264 hours as part of a science project. Gardner was battling serious health complications and subsequently struggled with insomnia for a long time.
