In his show “My Take” on Wednesday, “Varney & Co.” host Stuart Varney reacted to Bernie Sanders’ speech at the Democratic Party Convention, in which the socialist senator from Vermont preached about an “extreme left” future for America.
STUART VARNEY: It sounded like a throwback to the past.
In fact, it was a projection of the future, at least of the future that Bernie Sanders want to see.

He calls himself a democratic socialist, but really it’s the same thing: always government.
He believes it is the government that can really help working people, pointing to the Biden-era COVID relief programs.

Jobs are becoming fewer and fewer. Robots are taking over. There is a long list of industries that he wants to rein in and control.
