Mets “Mets Connect” fan engagement program

New York Mets launch their first loyalty program

The Major League Baseball (MLB) team New York Mets (USA) recently introduced Mets Connectionthe team’s first-ever loyalty program, open to all Mets fans for the remainder of the 2024 season.

“mlb.com” explained that the new program is designed to reward Mets fans with unique offers and experiences while bringing them closer to the team they love.

The New York Mets are an American professional baseball team based in the New York City borough of Queens (USA). The Mets play in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member of the National League East Division.

The 41,800-seat stadium Citi Field is a baseball stadium in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in the borough of Queens, New York City, USA. Citi Field is the baseball stadium of Major League Baseball New York Mets and was opened in 2009.

“mlb.com” further that fans can easily participate in the program via the MLB Stadium App to start collecting points immediately by scanning their digital membership card while at the Citi Field or participate in digital games wherever they are.

We wanted to create something that is easily accessible to our fan base across the country (USA), not just those who come to see us at the stadium.”

For the remainder of the 2024 season, all Mets fans can earn points by purchasing single-game tickets, scanning game tickets, purchasing food and beverages (F&B) at Citi FieldPurchase merchandise in the Team Store and play interactive games in the Ballpark app. By earning points and moving up through the program tiers, fans can unlock free tickets and perks and redeem points for a variety of rewards, including VIP access to events, exclusive ballpark experiences, a video appearance from the popular “Mr. & Mrs. Met” and other prizes.

Goldberg added: “The power of this platform lies in the ability to learn a lot more about our fan base simply by rewarding our fans for activities they already do. We have one of the most passionate and engaged fan bases in all of sport and this rewards program is one of the next steps in the ongoing transformation of the fan experience.”

Registration is now open for all Mets fans via the MLB Ballpark app or their website.
