Greystar opens new building project in White Plains for first move-ins

Greystar has opened the doors of 25 North Lex in White Plains, its first residential complex in New York City, to its first move-ins. Located at 25 N. Lexington Ave., 25 North Lex is directly across from the White Plains Metro-North Train Station, which recently underwent a $95 million renovation. 25 North Lex includes 500 luxury rental apartments, nearly 60,000 square feet of amenities and approximately 16,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

“We are thrilled to welcome the first residents to their new homes at 25 North Lex, where they can enjoy a hassle-free lifestyle and direct access to New York City and beyond via the adjacent Metro station,” said Gary Kerr, Senior Managing Director of Development at Greystar. “Greystar is particularly excited about the integration of art in and around the 25 North Lex community. Along with these new apartments, public art brings new vitality to downtown White Plains and makes the area more attractive to those who live, work and visit the city.”

The 76,500 square meter project consists of two intersecting towers of 16 and 25 floors rising from a four-story podium, behind which lies a large covered parking garage with bicycle parking.
