In the film, these Engineers are not humans, but some are from a parallel universe. One of their soldiers, who is nearly ten feet tall, drinks a black substance and eventually dies.
The creature takes off its clothes and drinks the black substance. Due to the change, it may not have survived, but it could become a launching pad for humanity. It is not dead, but its DNA has mutated into a complex dimension, leading to the creation of humans. These technologically advanced creatures appeared in both the Prometheus and Alien: Covenant films, creating humans and now ready to wipe them out.

The creature Xenomorph is in the empty ship. While the group of scientists visits the space graveyard, a creature is waiting there for its prey. The alien (Kay’s engineer and alien hybrid) has harvested the black substance and its offspring is causing chaos among the searchers from Earth.
In the film’s plot, a group of space explorers find a lost spaceship. When they go inside and try to investigate the lost ship, they discover that there is something else inside. Something familiar in the ship possesses it, and an invasion of its territory makes it territorial, for it is not alone.
