As USA TODAY previously reported, former President Bill Clinton will take the stage Wednesday night to deliver a speech on the penultimate day of the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

Clinton is one of several notable speakers and former presidents speaking at the convention this week. Former President Barack Obama spoke on Tuesday and President Joe Biden delivered a speech at the convention on opening night.

Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, immediately endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris after Biden dropped out of the race.

Harris, the Democratic candidate, will close the convention on Thursday evening with her acceptance speech.

When will Bill Clinton speak at the DNC?

Clinton is scheduled to speak Wednesday night during the DNC’s main program session, which runs from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. CT. An exact time has not been announced, but he is expected to speak before Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz, USA TODAY previously reported.

How to watch and stream the DNC 2024

The convention will be broadcast live from the United Center in Chicago on the convention website Tuesday through Thursday between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET (6 p.m. and 10 p.m. CT).

USA TODAY will provide live stream coverage of the DNC every night Monday through Thursday on YouTube.

When and where will the Democratic Party Convention take place?

The Democratic National Convention will take place in Chicago from August 19 to 22.

The United Center, home of the Chicago Bulls and Blackhawks, will be the main venue for the DNC.

Chicago has hosted the Democratic National Convention eleven times, most recently in 1996, when President Bill Clinton was nominated for a second term at the United Center.

The DNC announced the evening’s themes for the convention. The title of the convention is “For the People, For Our Future.”
