Current Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to formally accept the party’s nomination as presidential candidate on the final day of the convention on Thursday, August 22. Her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, will address the convention the day before, on Wednesday, August 21.

The 2024 DNC began on Monday, August 19, and most television coverage will focus on the evening events, which begin around 4 p.m. PT. Speakers will take the stage at roughly the same time each night.
