Meghan McCain criticizes every asshole who brought Joe Biden to the DNC stage late at night: ‘Disrespectful’

“I can’t stay up that late, we all have our own lives and children. God bless our 81-year-old president that he can get through his speech at this early hour,” said the former “View” star.

Months after I admittedly endured a few hours of suffering through Bradley Cooper’s maestroformer View Co-host and conservative political commentator Meghan McCain once again made her struggle with falling asleep public as she tried to get through the show before President Joe Biden spoke at the Democratic National Convention on Monday night.

“I’m at the end – I can’t stay up that late, we all have lives and children. God bless our 81-year-old president for making the speech at this hour,” the 39-year-old McCain said on X at exactly 11 p.m., before Biden’s appearance on the DNC stage in Chicago. Biden’s appearance came weeks after he announced he would not run for re-election in the 2024 presidential election, after repeated calls (including from McCain’s previous View colleagues) that he should resign for reasons of age.

McCain continued, “Whatever producers did this to him and let it run for so long at this hour is an asshole and disrespectful to Biden.”

About 13 minutes earlier, at 10:47 p.m., Meghan McCain’s War Room raised the alarm when the controversial figure realized that Biden had not yet shown up on the first night of the convention.

“Are they seriously going to put President Biden on the air at midnight?!?” asked the daughter of the late Senator John McCain, though a user responded to remind her of the time zones. “It’s only 9:30pm in Chicago, didn’t you say you were going to bed,” the user replied.

McCain had previously complained that the DNC’s schedule interfered with her evening with her children.

“This convention is SO LATE. Guys, I’m old and have toddlers! Who wants to stay up that late?!” McCain wrote.

By 9:07 p.m., McCain had already had enough of the convention and sharply criticized the list of speakers who had already spoken during the broadcast.

“How could any of these people be elected to any office?!? None of these speakers have the slightest charisma,” McCain said.

In a moment of serene clarity, McCain praised Vice President Kamala Harris (calling her “elegant and beautiful,” months after saying Harris was proof that “a woman can’t be vice president”) and, apparently, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton — both of whom also appeared at Monday night’s event.

“A very, very noble and moving speech from Hillary tonight,” McCain said on X, although she notably omitted the extra “l” in Clinton’s first name, making it seem as if she was still at the DNC or that she had, out of boredom, turned her attention to Disney+ to stream the show of well-known one-L icon Hilary Duff. Lizzie McGuire.

If she decides to tune in to the second night of the DNC, McCain will be quite exciting, as it was announced earlier this week that her former View Co-moderator Ana Navarro – a registered Republican – will host the evening event.
