Damage to the Apple Watch sapphire screen

Damage to the Apple Watch sapphire screen

Hi everyone, this is my Apple Watch Series 9 in stainless steel with sapphire crystal. Unfortunately you can’t see what my screen looks like. The problem is I don’t know how this happened. First I noticed a small blue mark on the top of the screen in March but I thought I had hit the screen in bed while sleeping.

However, this bruise has grown larger over the past few months and recently a second bruise has appeared at the bottom of the screen. There is even a bruise on the back of the watch. There are also a lot of water marks on the screen that I can’t remove. I haven’t hit the watch against a wall or anything or done anything wrong to damage it, but you can see the results. I usually do some basic exercises daily for about 10-15 minutes and then wash it off with normal water just to wash off the sweat. I can’t imagine washing with water could cause this damage since the watch is designed for swimming.

My question is how common is this kind of problem, especially on a sapphire crystal that has been used for less than a year. Does anyone have these blue marks and permanent water stains on their watch and how to deal with them? What can I do in my situation? It is still under warranty, I bought it in October 2023 from an Apple dealer in Bulgaria. Any advice and help is appreciated. Thanks.
