Tom Cruise is all smiles during a helicopter ride while Katie Holmes drops her daughter Suri off at college

Tom Cruise was all smiles during his last helicopter flight in London. The Hollywood star was spotted landing at London’s Battersea Heliport at the weekend after his holiday around the Mediterranean. Meanwhile, his ex-wife Katie Holmes returned to New York after dropping off their daughter Suri at the University.

The actor took some time off after his incredible stunt at the 2024 Paris Olympics. He was photographed at the airport in a casual outfit consisting of a white polo shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and a blue hat.

It’s unclear if Cruise has been in touch with his daughter since she began a new chapter of her life at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. The former celebrity couple’s 18-year-old daughter is set to start college this week and Katie decided to help her settle in.

The actress was photographed arriving in New York City this Monday. She wore grey sweatpants, a cream hoodie, a black baseball cap and flat shoes when she arrived home. She was also seen carrying her bag after spending the entire weekend with Suri.

Several reports suggest that Suri is in an estranged relationship with the actor, which is also due to her recent name change where she shared her preference of being called Suri Noelle. Katie recently spoke about her excitement for her daughter to start her college life.

“Of course I’m going to miss being close, but I’m really proud of her and I’m happy,” she said. “I remember that age, that time of beginnings,” she told Town & Country, recalling her time at Columbia University. “It’s exciting to learn about yourself, and I loved that time, so it makes me happy to think of it that way.”
