Community Foundation of Lorain County’s ‘Connect to a Cause’ to be held September 19 – Morning Journal

The Community Foundation of Lorain County is hosting its Connect to a Cause 2024 event on September 19. According to a press release, it promises to be an inspiring day dedicated to supporting 95 nonprofit organizations that serve the community.

The campaign, which runs from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., offers numerous opportunities to advocate and support people’s causes and will have a significant impact on the community, the press release said.

The day will conclude with the Connect to a Cause celebration at Tom’s Country Place, 3442 Stoney Ridge Road in Avon, the press release said.

The celebration begins at 5:30 p.m. with networking, followed by an hour of entertainment at 6:00 p.m.

“Join us for an evening of fun and community spirit and take the opportunity to network with other supporters, nonprofit leaders and community members,” the press release said.

How to participate:

• Support local causes – Discover the 95 participating nonprofits and make a contribution.

• Support the All Fund’s new causes – You can contribute to this fund through Connect to a Cause, which will distribute your donation to all participating nonprofits, expanding your impact across all causes.

• Join the Celebration – Take advantage of the Connect to a Cause Celebration by registering at peoplewhocare.org to secure your spot for engagement, networking and entertainment.
