Michael Ilesanmi was launched during the unveiling campaign for 90 Day Fiancé: And they lived happily ever after? so far with Angela Deem bringing in a private investigator who secretly looked into his life, the mysterious Facebook page, and more. After finding out that their post-show breakup took a big step forward, we now have more insight into why this relationship never worked.
The private investigator presented the results of over 100 pages of documents he had unearthed on Michael, and I was expecting a big revelation that would confirm why he and Angela did not live happily ever after. Instead, he concluded that Michael not Angela cheated and that it NO Evidence that he cheated on her to gain U.S. citizenship. Under normal circumstances, this would be great news. However, it was not received that way, and now I am not at all surprised that Michael ran away from home in fear for his life after this revelation.
Angela refused to accept the analysis of the private detective she had hired
Instead of feeling relieved, Angela began to insult the private investigator, Michael and everyone on the stage. She claimed that Michael had “screwed” everyone there and that he had definitely cheated and deceived her, and before anyone could respond, she left the 90 Day Fiancé: And they lived happily ever after? stage where he tells everything. All Michael could do was keep sitting there, probably burned out from defending himself against a situation that never happened.
Angela refused to continue even though Michael wanted her to
Ultimately, the main reason for this 90 Day Married couple’s breakup is distrust and unwillingness to move on. Michael may be innocent in the recent And they lived happily ever after? tell all, but we know that he had an online affair with an American woman who discovered Angela. We also know that he had intimate relations with a woman while he was dating Angela, before he met her in person.
Michael is proven to be unfaithful, but that is in the past. Angela is now cleared of any wrongdoing and cannot put the past behind her and move on with him. I’m not saying she has to, but if she’s not ready, why hasn’t she left him yet?
It is a question that we will probably not get an answer to during the 90 Day Fiancé: And they lived happily ever after? tell all, although we suspect that their threats to expel him from the country are largely empty. After all, we learned from a lawyer in a previous episode that Michael’s status in the United States was protected regardless of the status of their marriage after his visa was approved. Based on that, I wouldn’t expect to hear any news of him returning to Nigeria unless he himself wants to go there.
90 Day Fiancé: And they are happily ever afterThe tell-all series continues on TLC Sundays at 8pm ET. I hope that now that all the drama surrounding Angela and Michael is wrapped up, we get more screen time to focus on other couples.
