During Sunday’s game between Indiana Fever and Seattle Storm, tensions arose between the team’s two coaches shortly before the end.
Fever coach Christie Sides and Storm coach Noelle Quinn got into an argument on the sideline at the end of the fourth quarter, presumably because Indiana did not take its starters out of the game after Seattle did so as the game was spiraling out of control for the Storm.
Well, Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark wanted to voice her opinion on the ordeal, as the big screen at Gainbridge Fieldhouse showed Clark seemingly telling the Storm to “stop crying” as a few of her players got caught up in the passionate conversation between Sides and Quinn.
Clark picked up a technical foul in Sunday’s win and will have to be wary of such taunts from the sidelines as she gets closer and closer to the number of technical fouls that would warrant an unnecessary suspension.
