NEW DELHI: Global cybersecurity company F5 has partnered with NetApp and Console Connect to strengthen its position in multi-cloud networking.
Citing estimates from International Data Corporation (IDC), NASDAQ-listed F5 said the multi-cloud networking market is growing rapidly and is expected to reach $10.16 billion in 2028.
Indian enterprises are rapidly adopting hybrid/multi-cloud technologies to modernize and grow their revenues. “However, this has increased security challenges due to complex cyber threats and increased the demand for enhanced cloud security,” said Pratik Shah, Managing Director, India and SAARC, F5.
Shah added that F5 is expanding its partnerships with NetApp, Red Hat, Console Connect and others to deliver innovative solutions that simplify the complexity of securely connecting applications in hybrid environments.
According to an internal F5 study, the demand for multi-cloud networking strategies has increased significantly: nearly 90% of companies deploy apps and application programming interfaces (APIs) in a mix of on-premises and cloud or edge environments.
The results underscore the significant challenges organizations face today in managing apps across multiple infrastructure environments, with more than a third of respondents (38%, almost double the 2023 figure) running apps in six or more different environments.
F5 and NetApp will provide enterprises with robust and secure data mobility capabilities, improve hybrid return on investment (ROI) and reduce IT overload.
F5 and Red Hat simplify migration and management of cloud workloads with Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA).
Finally, F5 and Console Connect, a Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) provider, will integrate Console Connect with F5 across multiple points of presence (PoPs), extending F5’s global backbone and strengthening its multi-cloud networking solutions.
