The tension is palpable in the new trailer for Hulu’s Tell me lies Season 2. The series returns to the streamer next month for its second season.
What we know about season 2 of “Tell Me Lies”
The series stars Grace Van Patten, Jackson WhiteSonia Mena, Branden Cook, Alicia Crowder, Spencer House and Cat Missal. Tom Ellis is a series regular in season 2 and Thomas Doherty has taken on a recurring guest role.
Here is the official synopsis for season 2:
Season 2 of Tell Me Lies begins with Lucy Albright (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco (Jackson White) returning to college and no longer speaking after their dramatic breakup earlier in the summer. Though they are very much at odds, they find themselves in a new version of their addictive dynamic – one that is as infuriating as it is inevitable. Meanwhile, the story delves deeper into the lives of Lucy and Stephen’s circle of friends as the fallout from season 1 impacts all of their lives in unexpected ways.”
Meaghan Oppenheimer is showrunner and executive producer. Laura Lewis and Stephanie Noonan are executive producers for Rebelle Media, while Emma Roberts, Karah Preiss and Matt Matruski are executive producers for Belletrist. Sam Schlaifer and Shannon Gibson are executive producers.
The drama is based on the novel of the same name by Carola Lovering, who also serves as a consulting producer. The studio is 20th Television.
