Nick Cannon is not only known for his diverse jobs in the media, but also for his large family. Cannon is the father of 12 children and of course, a lot has been said about that fact. Sometimes fans (and celebrities) have found ways to troll Cannon, who has no problem criticizing himself from time to time. Most recently, the former Nickelodeon star was put at the center of a viral post about U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris’ economic plan. And Cannon didn’t seem to be amused by that, as he gave a short – but very direct – response.
As most of you probably know by now, Kamala Harris is running for President of the United States and is trying to do so on the Democratic ticket. In this context, she is appearing at rallies and trying to convey her positions to the public. One of the pieces of information that has been shared on this topic is that Vice President Harris is reportedly extended tax allowance for newbornswhich would be worth $6,000. When an X user saw this, he shared the news and included a photo of Nick Cannon. When Cannon saw the post, he took a screenshot and shared it with Instagram. He also added the following caption:
It sounds like the Real husbands from Hollywood Alum isn’t keen on being associated with this particular political issue, although the emoji he shared suggests he may see some humor in it. His fans also seem to be enjoying the situation, judging by their comments. You can read some of the responses below:
- You know you’re about to cash the check, Nick πβ€οΈ – @kin9_naee
- No, you kind of prepared yourself for it… they must be calling it the “Cannon Credit” now ππβΊοΈ – @_crownmekingggggg
- No, YOU, get out of this. π – @gucciidezi
- Dude πππ, you’ve had so many kids that all the jokes about newborns will forever be directed at you. – @_zenmartins
Nick Cannon currently has twins Moroccan and Monroe Cannon (13) with Mariah Carey. He also has sons Golden Sagon (7) and Rise Messiah (1) and daughter Powerful Queen (3) with Brittney Bell. Abby De La Rosa has twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir (3) and a daughter, Beautiful Zeppelin (1) with the comedian. In addition, the host of “Masked Singer” has two children with Alyssa Scott, including Zen (who died of brain cancer at the age of 5 months old in 2021) and Halo Marie (1). Cannon and Bre Tiesi also have a son, 11-month-old Legendary Love. And finally, Cannon has an 11-month-old daughter, Onyx Ice Cole, with LaNisha Cole.
As many would probably assume, Nick Cannon actually spends a lot of money on his childrenβs needs. Cannon had previously spoken about child supportand said that he contributes quite a lot to his few children. He also has a number of other notable expenses that he pays off every year. This apparently even includes his tendency to Spend $200.00 per year at Disneyland. Overall, Cannon seems to have tried to be prudent with his finances, even going so far as to borrow several million dollars Insurance policy on his testicles.
To the media personality’s credit, he finds the Kamala Harris joke funny. It’s really a testament to how self-deprecating he can be. Whether he would ultimately participate in such a large family-focused tax credit (should it be implemented) remains unclear. But for now, it seems he’s managing his wealth as tightly as necessary.
Anyone who wants to see Nick Cannon entertaining the masses can do so if The Masked Singer returns to Fox in the fall for its 12th season, as part of the TV schedule 2024.
