Bryan Danielson says he is working without an AEW contract

Heading to AEW All In, Bryan Danielson is working without a contract.

Danielson had previously stated that his talent contract expires on August 1st. He is still scheduled to headline AEW All In, where he will face AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland in a title vs. career match.

In conversation with Sean Ross Sapp from CombativeBryan Danielson was asked about his contract status.

“I don’t have a contract right now, I’m just not under contract, it’s crazy,” Danielson said.

When asked if anyone had contacted him, Bryan Danielso replied, “Not a single person (laughs). No (I’m not surprised). But the people who really know me also know that I don’t look at my phone very often. I have 3,998 unread text messages. I’m almost at 4,000. I also have a lot of missed calls, so someone could have been in there. But I would have to go through all my missed text messages and look.”

Bryan Danielson focuses entirely on AEW

Danielson also said that he is currently focused on AEW All In. He then noted that after that he wants to spend time with his family and become more involved in his community.

“I’m focused on going all in right now and making the most of it,” Bryan Danielson said. “But after that, I want to spend some time at home with my family and get more involved in my community. One of the most rewarding things I’ve been able to do outside of wrestling is we restored this tree, and that took several years. I’ve participated three or four times, this time in Washington state, and donated money to help fund this and all those things. That’s really rewarding. Being able to participate in things like that and see meaningful change, that’s kind of my thing.
