Galder leaves Dimmu Borgir after almost 25 years
Dimmu Borgir guitarist and bassist Galder has parted ways with the band. After joining in 2000, Galder decided to step away to devote more time to his other project Old Man’s Child, which hasn’t released an album since 2009. His last performance with Dimmu Borgir was last Saturday, August 17, at Dynamo Metal Fest.
So far, Dimmu Borgir – consisting of founding members Shagrath and Silenoz as well as several live musicians – has not yet made a statement about Galder’s departure.

Vended presents new single and music video
By now most people know Vended, led by Corey Taylor’s son Griffin Taylor and featuring Simon Crahan (Clown’s son) on drums. Today they present a new music video for their latest song “Serenity” from their upcoming debut album, which is due out September 20, 2024.

Vended will hit the road next month, playing a mix of headlining dates and shows with Slipknot and Knocked Loose. They will also appear at Korn’s 30th anniversary concert in October, where they will share the stage with Evanescence, Gojira and Spiritbox.
