Love Island stars Joey Essex and Jessy Potts have spent some time together in London, just days after they left their fans amid fears of a “breakup.”
The couple, who were voted out of the show shortly before the live final, have been making the most of their time away from the iconic villa, taking a trip to the capital for a lunch date. In a series of snaps uploaded to his Instagram Story on Sunday, August 18, The Only Way Is Essex’s Joey gave fans an insight into the daytime date as he and Jessy went out for a bite to eat.

In one picture, 25-year-old Jessy looked sensational in a white and blue floral dress, which she paired with round sunglasses. To complete the summery look, the TV personality had tucked her blonde hair behind her ears and wore dewy make-up.
Joey, 34, meanwhile, looked stylish as he opted for an all-black outfit, wearing a black leather jacket and jeans. He accessorised with grey sneakers and black sunglasses.
The couple’s amorous outing comes after Joey and Jessy spoke with OK! about their time on the ITV2 show, with Joey responding to speculation that he received “special treatment” in the villa.
“Look, if this was special treatment – after the journey I’ve been on – then I’d like to know what the worst treatment was!” he said.
He added: “You know what I mean? Television is very different these days than it was 13 years ago when I started. There’s nothing you can say or do. On the finale I wore a cap backwards, which I thought looked backwards, but I was told I shouldn’t have worn a cap backwards. That’s how it is now.”
During the chat, the pair also talked about the future of their relationship and even admitted that they had talked about having kids. “We both want a big family. But right now we’re arguing a bit. She wants four, I want eight. Imagine how amazing that would be,” Joey explained.
Joey’s answer surprised Jessy a little. “Oh my God, eight!? Joey would be a great father though, no doubt about that,” she said. He replied, “And Jessy would be a great mother. We would be such good parents. I’m ready. I would do it tomorrow. Maybe even tonight!”
