The Dogecoin community has been put on high alert following an important warning from Dogecoin developer Inevitable 360.
In an X post, Inevitable 360 alerted the Dogecoin community to a fake account posing as the Dogecoin Foundation on X. This fraudulent account attempts to deceive users by posing as the legitimate Dogecoin Foundation account on X.

Inevitable 360 reached out to X to spread the warning and urge the Dogecoin community to be vigilant and report the fake account. The scammer uses the name and imitates the Dogecoin Foundation’s branding on X to deceive unsuspecting users.
This scam is particularly worrying because it exploits the trust and reputation of the real Dogecoin Foundation, which has been a cornerstone of the Dogecoin project since its inception.
Inevitable 360’s warning is an important reminder to the community to remain vigilant and verify the authenticity of any social media account claiming to belong to the Dogecoin Foundation.

Founded in 2014, the Dogecoin Foundation has been instrumental in the development and support of the Dogecoin project.
The Dogecoin Foundation, a non-profit organization, is responsible for supporting Dogecoin through development and advocacy, protecting the Dogecoin brand to protect against abuse and fraud, and providing a plan and governance for the future of Dogecoin.
Members of the Dogecoin team originally established the Foundation in 2014 to lead and support the project. In 2021, members of the core development team gave the Foundation new momentum, along with new experienced advisors looking to help Dogecoin expand in the years to come.
