Meghan sent secret message to Charles in ‘grand gesture’ – while telltale sign revealed Harry’s nervousness, expert claims – The Sun

A body language expert claimed that Meghan Markle conveyed a secret message to Charles with a “grand gesture” during her speech.

The 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex spoke with Prince Harry at a conference on “Afro Women and Power” on the last day of her “Paux Royal” tour.

The mother of two was beaming as she addressed the crowd at Cali’s municipal theater on the fourth day of her stay in Colombia.

In her speech, Meghan paid tribute to her husband Harry and their daughter, three-year-old Lilibet.

And according to body language expert Judi James, Meghan used subtle gestures during her speech that may have been directed at King Charles.

At one point, the former Suits star said: “How can we cover things up with love, kindness and generosity?”

Expert Judi says that this sentence was accompanied by a thoughtful closing of the eyes and very emphatic body language.

Judi added: “Meghan is holding her hand up and circling it in the air as she speaks here.

“This is the same signal of unity and solidarity that is so dear to Harry’s heart, and it could also be a silent message of peace to his father Charles.”

In part of her speech, the Duchess also hinted, in verbal, aural and non-verbal terms, at a new approach to challenges and problems that is gentler, less combative and more collaborative.

This may actually have been a not-so-subtle message of peace to the royal family and the Colombian people, Judi claims.

With a thoughtful look, she tells her audience and perhaps the world: “My approach to things today is less about fighting…”

The body language expert added: “Her increasing emphasis on this last word makes her statement sound like a question at this point.”

“Here, too, she pauses and uses eye contact with the audience to evoke empathy and understanding.”

Meghan and Harry have NO idea what they are doing or what they stand for – they have lost all power

Judi believes that these words and signals are about a more passive and accepting approach that comes from a good heart.

And the body language expert also claimed that Harry suffered from “proxy anxiety” during Meghan’s speech.

According to Judi, the telltale sign clearly revealed his nervousness.

Judi said: ‘Harry is said to suffer from nerves before giving a speech and as he sat next to his wife in the audience he appeared to be suffering from anxiety on his wife’s behalf and perhaps worried about her.

“While Meghan sat calmly and focused, engaging in nonverbal one-on-one communication with the woman at the lectern on stage, appearing confident and optimistic, Harry stroked his beard in a classic self-soothing ritual.”

He was then seen looking down, playing around, talking and appearing distracted while Meghan sat upright and smiled gracefully, Judi claimed.

However, the body language expert said Harry’s proxy fear “seemed to disappear at the end” when he joined Meghan on stage.

In her speech today, the Duchess revealed that her three-year-old daughter has “found her voice”.

And Meghan also praised her mother Doria as her “role model”.

She wiped her forehead with a gesture and said “Phew” after speaking the first part of her speech in Spanish.

After the conference, Harry joined his wife and, holding hands, walked onto the stage of the Enrique Buenaventura Municipal Theater in downtown Cali.

In the 1990s, the city was famous as the home of the Cali Cartel, which at the time controlled 80 percent of the global cocaine market.

During their previous appearances, the couple was constantly guarded by a “ring of steel” that ensured their safety at all times, and today’s visit was no exception.

Outside, heavily armed soldiers, bomb disposal officers and police officers, including one with a dog, stood guard.
