5 ways tourists can contact Dubai Police

Since the beginning of the year, Dubai Tourist Police has received more than 3,000 enquiries, comments and suggestions from tourists through its five digital communication channels.

In this context, Dubai Police wants to further improve its communication channels to reach more tourists visiting the city.

Brigadier Khalfan Obaid Al Jallaf, Director of the Tourist Police, said the police were committed to “working with international tourists to enhance their travel experience in Dubai.”

If you as a tourist want to contact the Dubai Police, you have the following five options:

  • Dubai Police Smart App: This app is available for iOS, Android and Huawei systems and allows tourists to submit inquiries and reports conveniently via their mobile phone.
  • Dubai Police website: Tourists can also visit the police website at www.dubaipolice.gov.ae for more information.
  • Intelligent Police Stations (SPS): These self-service police stations are open 24 hours a day and allow tourists to submit suggestions and reports without the physical presence of a police officer.
  • Emergency call 901: This call center service is intended for non-urgent calls from tourists.
  • Email from the tourist police: Tourists from all over the world can email Dubai Police at (email protected).

The 3,509 enquiries and suggestions this year, following the 7,652 interactions last year, have significantly improved the department’s ability to provide police and security services, recover lost items and assist tourists, thus enhancing their overall experience in Dubai, Al Jallaf said.
