WWE wrestlers whose finishers fans don’t know

WWE currently has a loaded roster with plenty of talent that can put on fantastic matches. From the main event to the opening act, the wrestlers under contract are entertaining to watch. However, only a few get the chance to showcase themselves in a match, as many wrestlers’ jobs are essentially to make other people look good.

Although they can look good doing it, these wrestlers usually lose on a regular basis. Even though fans know who they are, they often have no idea what their finishing move is because they never get to see it, even if the move itself is excellent.

Akira Tozawa is mainly used in comedic sketches

He rarely gets to show his wrestling talent

Akira Tozawa is a fantastic wrestler, but many WWE fans know that. He has had some great matches throughout his career, but has mostly been used as a comedic character in WWE.

This is especially true recently, as his role in Alpha Academy has provided many funny moments. Tozawa has landed himself a good role, but rarely shows off what he can do as a wrestler, including his diving senton finisher.

B-Fab focuses more on being a manager

She spends most of her time outside the ring with street winnings

B-Fab is rarely used as a wrestler, so it’s no surprise that her finisher isn’t as well known. Although she can wrestle, WWE has traditionally used her as a manager or valet throughout her time with the company.

Whether she was part of Hit Row or most recently teamed with The Street Profits, B-Fab usually entertains her fans outside of wrestling. However, she does have a great Bicycle Pump Kick that she can use when needed.

Apollo Crews has hardly any wrestlers in the main roster

Since his return from NXT he has had problems

There have been a few brief periods where Apollo Crews has been seriously pushed by WWE, giving fans a chance to see what he can do, but he’s not having that moment right now. The former United States Champion rarely gets TV exposure, so it’s no surprise that fans don’t know his finish.

He flourished when he returned to WWE NXTbut his return to the main roster has resulted in him spending most of his time in catering. His finisher is cool though, and the Spinout Powerbomb always looks impressive when he gets to use it.

Tegan Nox spends most of her time backstage

She was not included in the main squad

There was a lot of excitement when Tegan Nox returned to WWE, given her talent and how well Triple H had treated her during her time in WWE NXTUnfortunately, things didn’t go to plan and she rarely appeared on television and when she did, it was usually to put others in the spotlight.

Nox’s finisher, however, fits her striking style as it is essentially a running knee strike. She hits her opponent’s face and makes the move look great whenever she gets the chance to execute it.

Cedric Alexander had business problems after his injury

His finisher is one of the coolest in the WWE

There was a time when WWE gave Cedric Alexander a lot of attention during his time as a member of The Hurt Business. He deserved it given his in-ring talent, but since the group disbanded, he has been given few chances to prove himself.

Many fans don’t know his finishing move because he never shows it. However, the Lumbar Check is a fantastic move. He throws his opponents into the air and then catches them with a backstabber.

Erik had to deal with many injuries

People often forget him during his absence

Erik’s WWE career has been full of ups and downs, but also some positive moments and long periods of inactivity. His physical wrestling style has made the Viking Raiders entertaining to watch, but their finisher is often a double-team move.

When Erik is alone, he can use a fantastic finisher. This is the Death Row, a knee strike to the back of his opponent’s head that is unique and extremely aggressive.

Giovanni Vinci has not been booked since his time at Imperium

He was thrown out of the group by Ludwig Kaiser

During his time with Imperium, Giovanni Vinci got the chance to show what he could do in the ring. Although he was often the one who took the losses for the group, he was still regularly featured on television and allowed to shine.

Since Ludwig Kaiser kicked him out of the faction, he has barely been used on television. WWE has decided to keep him in catering and not make the most of his talent, which is why fans don’t know about his powerbomb finisher.

Dragon Lee has potential as an actor

WWE withdrew its expected move

When Dragon Lee was brought up from the main roster, it was a huge boost and WWE seemed to have invested in him. He was able to show his talent in the ring and started to win over the fans, but his booking completely changed for some reason.

That’s why many fans aren’t familiar with his Operation Dragon finisher, where he grabs his opponent, climbs up them, and then slams them to the mat. It’s a smooth move that people would much rather see.

Ivy Nile looks like this, but is not booked like this

She is a physical wrestler who is capable of more in the WWE

Ivy Nile has shown impressive breakouts throughout her WWE career, with her impressive physique and hard striking style attracting a lot of attention, but she hasn’t been booked in a way that allows her to be the best she can be in the women’s division.

She is not usually used as a top star, but has to outshine other wrestlers. At this stage of her career she is good in that role, but later on we may see her pit bull finisher from the second turnbuckle more often.

JD McDonagh was used to outdo others

He is the weak link of the Last Judgement

JD McDonagh may have a great position within WWE as a member of The Judgment Day, but that doesn’t mean fans know his finisher. He’s often used to one-upping other people by being the group member who gets the pinfall.

McDonagh always makes his opponents look good because he’s a fantastic wrestler. His Devil Inside Finisher is good and people will probably see more of it in the future. He pulls his opponent towards him and jumps into the air, spinning them to land on the mat.
