Mike Tyson is eager to get back into the ring.

The boxing icon held a press conference during Fanatics Fest NYC to talk about his upcoming fight with Jake Paul. When asked about the chances of the fight finally happening, Tyson expressed confidence in his readiness, saying he is “very well prepared” to knock out Paul.

This is not the first time a fight has been scheduled between the two. A fight was originally scheduled for July 20, but Tyson had to withdraw due to a stomach ulcer.

Tyson is a legend in the ring. He was the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world from 1987 to 1990 and has a career record of 50-6-2 with 44 knockouts. He has not fought professionally since 2005, but took part in an exhibition fight in 2020.

In that fight, the then 54-year-old competed against Roy Jones Jr., who was the same age. This time, Tyson will face the 27-year-old Paul and will have to compete against a much younger opponent.

Paul has gone 10-1 in the ring, but the fights have not been at the heavyweight level that Tyson has previously fought at. Still, he has shown potential and should be a tough opponent for the older Tyson.

The fight is scheduled to take place on November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
