Zach Bryan had his girlfriend Brianna Chickenfry write the upcoming music video for his song “Oak Island”

For his next music video he uses a familiar face.

Zach Bryan He set the bar high for music videos with his latest offering, the music video “Nine Ball” featuring Matthew McConaughey. The video, which also starred Tye Sheridan and Scott Shepherd, was written by Zach himself and features McConaughey teaching his son the basics of playing pool, while the son grows up to become a pool shark himself over the course of the video.

It was a cinematic masterpiece and it will be hard for Zach to top it with his next single.

That’s why he apparently decided to hire another author for this book: his girlfriend, Barstool Sports personality Brianna Chickenfry.

Brianna (real name Brianna LaPaglia) revealed on her TikTok account that Zach had her write his next music video, which will be for “Oak Island” from his latest album. The great American bar scene.

According to Brianna, Zach let her choose the song she wanted to write a music video for – so she chose her favorite song on the album.

And “Oak Island” is the perfect song for a music video. It tells the story of a man who leaves work to deal with some “boys on Oak Island” who are after his brother. On the way there, however, he stops at a bar and realizes that his brother has actually joined this gang – so the narrator ends up beating him up himself so he doesn’t hang out with the wrong crowd.

Brianna also revealed that they were able to cast “one of her best friends” as one of the leads, working alongside “a legend.” And she could hardly contain her excitement as she talked a little about how the video came together:

“We were sitting on the bus and we wrote this music video, I don’t know, three months ago. A couple of months ago. And it’s being executed down to the smallest detail the way I imagined it, the way Zach imagined it.

You’re going to be speechless because the cast is amazing, the song… it’s just going to be amazing, I’m so excited.”

They’re also bringing back the same director, Matthew Dillon Cohen (known as Bongo), who directed the music video for “Nine Ball.” And they’re in the middle of filming right now, so hopefully it won’t be long before we see the finished product.
