Not many get to tie the knot with their college sweetheart. One of the lucky ones is Christian Watson, the Green Bay Packers receiver who married his current wife Lakyn Adkins (now Watson). Adkins supported Watson on Bison game days, later she sat in the stands at Packers games and then the couple married in Malibu, California.

About 4 years ago, the Packers receiver announced his relationship with Adkins and things have taken off from there. Mrs. Watson used to be a beautician, now she’s a dog mom and lives in Wisconsin with her husband, a wide receiver. So is there more to say about Lakyn Watson? There certainly is.

It’s not clear what Watkins currently does for a living. What is clear, however, is that she is Christian Watson’s biggest fan. Her Instagram handle @lakyn_watson has 4.3k followers and is full of solo pictures, portraits with friends, and memories from Green Bay Packers games. No matter what photo she uploads, Christian Watson is there to make sure it doesn’t go unnoticed.

Almost two years ago, she uploaded the first picture from this account and it had the caption: “Since @instagram deactivated my other account, here is a cute picture from the last home game :).” The picture shows Christian and Lakyn as twins in black and white clothing, looking into each other’s eyes as if they had no worries in the world. These are truly snapshots!

We also know that she eagerly awaits home games too! About two years ago, the Packers had a home game and sure enough, Lakyn was there, dressed all in black and carrying a clear purse that said “WATSON.” Apparently, the day happened to be her birthday and Christian didn’t fail to give her the attention she deserved.

“Happy birthday, my buddy. This life with you is like a dream. I am so proud of you, of all your achievements and of who you are becoming. I love you more than words can describe – happy birthday, Christian 🤍”, was coincidentally the title of the photo in which Christian Watson leans forward to kiss his then-girlfriend, who happened to be in the stands.

But the days of the couple calling themselves boyfriend and girlfriend are over. Earlier this year, Christian and Lakyn reached a beautiful milestone in their lives, and they did it in style. Yes, we’re talking about this power couple’s marriage.

From the beginning, the couple had similar tastes. The littlest things, like the pair wearing Vans shoes on NDSU game days, are proof of that. “It was exactly what we were looking for,” Watson recounted the time the couple married 25-year-old Lakyn in the mountains of Malibu, California.

But it was a busy football season and Christian couldn’t be there to take care of the wedding details. Since Lakyn and Christian were on the same page about how they wanted their wedding to look, the Packers receiver left it up to Lakyn and Tori Perrano of Passera Events to make the wedding magical.

“Since I was busy with soccer, I let Lakyn lead the way along with Tori. I gave her things that I really wanted for our wedding and she carried them out,” Watson said. Jordan Love, De’Vondre Campbell, Aaron Jones, Bo Melton, Josiah Deguara, Samori Toure and Romeo Doubs were among the few Packers there to share the precious moment with the Watson couple.

“Our wedding was exactly who we are – from the design, the food, the location, the food and the clothes,” Watson said via People Magazine. White flowers, a matching dress and a beautiful bouquet in hand could be one of the most beautiful feelings in a bride’s life. Lakyn Watson has all that and more.

It’s been a wild ride since 2017 when the couple first met. Who knows, maybe a beautiful life awaits them sometime in the future.
