Where can I watch the first round of Serie A online for free?

Serie A starts on Saturday 17 August 2024, and fans in the UK and Ireland can watch eight of ten matches for free on OneFootball.

OneFootball has announced a partnership with Lega Serie A, allowing Italian football fans in the UK and Ireland to watch eight Serie A first round matches online for free.

The platform offers free online access to all opening day matches except Genoa-Inter and Cagliari-Roma, both of which are available as pay-per-view for £4.99 each.

“Streams can be watched live on mobile and desktop by simply tapping the match cards below or navigating to the Matches tab and following the on-screen instructions,” OneFootball said.

“All matches will also be streamed live on the OneFootball TV app, available on connected TVs from Apple TV, Google TV, Samsung, LG and Fire TV. Here is the full list of opening weekend matches streaming on OneFootball.”

The 2024–25 Serie A season begins on Saturday, August 17, with defending champions Inter visiting Genoa at the Stadio Ferraris.

Kick-off is at 18:30 CET, the same time as Parma-Fiorentina. The evening games at 20:45 CET are Milan-Turin and Empoli-Monza.

Antonio Conte will make his debut in the Napoli dugout away to Hellas Verona on Sunday at 18:30 CET, the same time as Bologna-Udinese. The other two Sunday games are Cagliari-Roma and Lazio-Venezia at 20:45.

Lecce-Atalanta (18:30) and Juventus-Como (20:45) are the last games of the first round on Monday.

Football Italia will be among the accredited media at the Allianz Stadium for Juventus-Como and will broadcast a post-match show from Turin, reviewing the match and all the other matches of Matchday 1. Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel to join the show!
