5 Brooklyn Nets games to watch in the 2024-25 season

The Brooklyn Nets are marking some of the most important dates in their 2024-25 schedule on their calendar.

Here are five games the Nets should pay more attention to than the others:

Wednesday, October 23 @ Atlanta Hawks

It’s the Nets’ season opener in the South, visiting the Atlanta Hawks. The game could mark the debut of Zaccharie Risacher, who was selected number 1 in the NBA draft in June.

Friday November 8th @ Boston Celtics

The Nets have their first chance against the defending champions at the start of the season at the TD Garden in Boston.

Friday, November 15th @ New York Knicks

The game will be the first meeting between the two teams since the trade of Mikal Bridges in June. It is also the first game on the Nets’ NBA Cup schedule. The Nets and Knicks will play on the 15th and again two nights later at Madison Square Garden. Bridges travels to Barclays on January 21 and again for the season finale on April 13.

Wednesday, January 22nd against Phoenix Suns

The Nets will see Kevin Durant and Devin Booker on the second night of a back-to-back game against the Suns during their annual trip to Brooklyn.

Monday, March 10 against Los Angeles Lakers

LeBron James could make one of his final appearances at Barclays Center when the Lakers visit the Nets in Brooklyn in mid-March.
