On X, formerly Twitter, the viral account “Today Years Old,” which is followed by over a million users, revealed a cutting-edge cake-serving hack.

The post included the question: “How old were you when you discovered this?” The intriguing caption was accompanied by a video of partygoers poking wine glasses into them to carefully scoop out pieces of cake.
This method not only looks chic, but also leaves hardly any annoying crumbs. And you don’t need any cutlery.
Basically, you can just scoop up your cake without the need for a knife or server (though you might still need a fork when you bite into it). Since it was uploaded on August 13, the clip has been viewed over 289,700 times.
One user exclaimed: “Yep, definitely years old today. Looks more like a bungler.”
And another planned ahead and said: “Cheers, I’ll try that next time!” Meanwhile, a third simply said: “Today.”
However, some culinary enthusiasts were not entirely convinced by the trick. One said: “I’ve been doing this since I was a child, I scoop it out by hand!”
