“Sooner or later I will write an autobiography”

In an interview with Andrew McKaysmith from the podcast Scars And Guitars, the founder and bassist of ironGirlSteve Harris He was asked if he would like to write an autobiography.

Steve didn’t shy away from the question and answered, “I would love to write a book someday. I know how much work and time it would take. That’s the problem. I’ve written some forewords for other people’s books and even that takes time. I thought to myself, wow, if it takes so long to write a foreword, what’s it like to write a book? Anyway, yes, I’m sure I’ll write one someday.”

The 68-year-old British musician previously spoke about the possibility of working on an autobiography during an appearance on SiriusXM’s “Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk” in March. “I would love to write a book at some point, but it’s just a matter of time. Because when I’m not on tour, I’m doing a lot of other things. So, writing a book… I couldn’t do what Bruce (Dickinson, singer of Iron Maiden) does, he’s doing ten things at once. He told me he would write in his dressing room before shows… I can’t do that, I’d have to prepare it and be more methodical. So I know it would take me a while. But I would love to write one. I would probably write a book about the early days.”
