Here’s a rule for life: when you’re in the country, never assume anything.

And this includes the assumption that not every piece of land belongs to people…

You’re going to get in big trouble!

Consider this story from Reddit as a cautionary tale…

“It wasn’t me, it was a family friend.

Basically, I live in a small town with one family that owns almost everything.

They’re not rich or spoiled, they’re just HUGE.

In any case, they own a lot of land scattered everywhere.

Tourism is our source of income, so many people come here to camp, hike or tour in an RV.

We have campsites for you everywhere, all for a fee.

Not a good idea…

However, not everyone is smart enough to realize this, and some people park on private property at the side of the road. This quickly becomes boring.

Cut to an RV parked on one of the properties I mentioned. A small fenced forest, a driveway into it.

Unfortunately for Mr. and Mrs. RV, this piece belongs to the construction company of said family.

You won’t go anywhere!

This guy grabbed a dump truck filled with dirt, blocked the access road and got stuck.

The police were called, but it was his country… he can leave what he wants, where he wants.

They were finally able to get out when the owner agreed to let a snow plow through. To this day, I think he should have shown a little more class and left a shovel in the pile.”

Now let’s see what people on Reddit had to say.

Give them plenty of time to think!
