According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are close and in the final stages of a deal to sign a Portuguese star in the remaining weeks of this transfer window.
The club have been trying to complete a number of deals before the end of the summer transfer window this month and this is yet another deal in question.

Romano says Chelsea and Atletico Madrid have now reached the final stages of a deal that will see Joao Felix join Chelsea “as part” of a separate deal that will see Conor Gallagher join Atletico.
Is Felix on his way back to the bridge soon?
Felix was of course on loan at Chelsea a few seasons ago. Is he now set to return there?
As you can see in the video above, Romano says:
“Chelsea and Atletico have reached the final stages of the João Félix deal! The final details are being finalized!”
“Chelsea are expected to pay £34-38m for João Félix, but I think it will be £34m plus add-ons, so that could be the structure of the deal.”
