HONG KONG SAR – Media OutReach – December 21, 2022 – Code-Create, the spin-off of the Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence in Design (AiDLab), launched AiDA, the world’s first fashion AI platform for limitless design inspiration, at Fashion X AI: 2022-2023 International Salon on December 19, 2022. International brands and designers who unveiled their first fashion AI collections using AiDA included Besfxxk, INJURY, The World Is Your Oyster, Mountain Yam, Kay Kwok and Fengyi Tan.

While searching for fashion products usually takes 1.3 to 7 seconds, Mixi not only pins them within 1 second with an accuracy rate of over 90% (industry rate below 50%), but also enables personalization thanks to the machine learning capability of AI. Mixi’s automatic tagging is enabled by its unparalleled ability to recognize over 2,300 colors and over 230 fashion attributes. Instant and relevant style searches are enabled by an intelligent, fine-grained fashion attribute and color recognition system.
The web-based AiDA is currently offered to users in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region and is a requirement in the new Bachelor’s degree curriculum at the School of Fashion and Textiles, Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
