“He’s a warrior. He was in a difficult situation, but he fought back. I’m going to go home and watch the fight again.”

“Right now I’m ready for big fights. I want to be world champion. I know I have to beat the best to be the best. I don’t want to name names, but everyone knows who the number one is. I want the fight with the number one.”

Three-time title challenger Sergiy Derevyanchenko, 38, of Feodosia, Crimea, Ukraine, fell to 15-6, 10 KOs.

“My legs were good. I only had one arm. I had to move. When I stopped, he threw combinations,” said Derevyanchenko. “He’s a good boxer, a strong boxer. But if I had two hands, the situation would probably be different.”
