LAFAYETTE, Louisiana (KLFY) — The Lafayette Public Library’s Go Go Biblio bookmobile will be in Girard Park this Monday at 11 a.m.
The bookmobile is an external service of the Lafayette Public Library.
The mobile library is packed with books for all ages. The collection also includes DVDs and audiobooks. In addition to books, Bookmobile also offers computer classes, crafts, STEM activities and early literacy programs.
“The Lafayette Public Library is always looking for innovative ways to better serve our community. With the bookmobile, we can now bring the library’s services directly to our patrons, no matter where they are. This initiative is especially important for seniors and families who may have difficulty reaching our physical branches. The bookmobile embodies our commitment to improving equity in library services throughout the community,” said the Lafayette Public Library.
The shuttle service is running at full capacity and will return to Girard Park on September 9th and 30th at 11am.
