A group of black women supports the former president Donald Trump Before the Trump rally on Saturday, they explained why immigration is their most important issue in the 2024 election.
MAGA streaming provider Right Side Broadcasting spoke to the group of Trump supporters outside the rally site in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and they said immigration, public safety and inflation were their top issues.
Since announcing his candidacy for the presidency, Trump has consistently performed well in polls on economic and immigration issues. In recent weeks, however, Kamala Harris has narrowed Trump’s lead in several key swing states.
When asked by RSBN, one woman in the group explained that the cost of living and rising rents motivated her to support Trump in this election cycle.
“Higher prices. Less housing. Rents have gone up. There aren’t many apartments, so if you’re looking for a house, it’s hard to find a rental,” she said when asked what had changed in her community in the last three years.

Another woman in the group joined the discussion, saying that immigration has made the community significantly “very unsafe,” adding that undocumented immigrants have “no respect for the law.”
“With the influx of illegal immigrants, this area is now very unsafe,” the supporter noted. “It’s not just because they’re here. It’s because of their lack of respect for the law. They have the attitude that I’m an exception and that I should be allowed to do what I want to do because that’s what I’m used to doing.”
