Former Weston County Commissioner Marty Ertman and current County Commissioner Ed Wagoner both continue to deny that the secret ballot the commissioners used to elect a representative for the Wyoming House of Representatives’ second district for the people of Weston County was illegal — even after agreeing to a court order saying it was a violation of Wyoming state law. With both running for a new term on the commission, Ertman said she plans to take the matter all the way to the Supreme Court, and Wagoner claims there was no secret ballot and that he and his colleagues were the targets of some sort of conspiracy.
