The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will open a disaster relief center in Manatee County on Saturday to assist residents affected by Tropical Storm Debby.

The center is open on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Lakewood Ranch Library and then daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The library is located at 16410 Rangeland Pkwy, Bradenton.

Recovery centers provide personalized assistance to residents and small business owners through FEMA, the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of Florida, and volunteer organizations.

Those seeking assistance from FEMA can apply online at disasterassistance.gov, by phone at 800-621-3362 or through the FEMA app. Manatee County has also opened three emergency supply distribution sites at Buffalo Creek Park, Lakewood Ranch Park and the Myakka Community Center.
