WHAT TO EXPECT

Saturday is another muggy and hot day in the East Tennessee region, with highs reaching just above 90 degrees and feeling more like the mid-90s before isolated thunderstorms develop in the afternoon.

These rains and storms will not be as widespread as Friday. They could dump a lot of rain in a short period of time, which could cause problems with runoff. Gusty winds in a stronger storm could again knock down some trees and branches.
