Logan co-writer Michael Green says people warned him that Deadpool and Wolverine ruined the ending of his film.
Logan should be Hugh Jackman’s farewell to the character he has played since the first X-Men Film, but as we know, he returned to the role for Deadpool and Wolverine. Fans were initially concerned that the Dead Pool Continuation would preserve the legacy of Loganso you can imagine their relief when the film began with Deadpool digging up Logan’s rotting corpse and then using his adamantium skeleton to brutally slaughter a group of TVA officers while NSYNC’s Bye, bye. Maximum class.
Michael Green, co-author of Loganwas warned by friends that he would miss the opening of Deadpool and Wolverine to be a little offensive, but he didn’t take it that way at all.”People had warned me in advance: “Uh, I don’t know how you’re going to feel about the beginning (of Deadpool & Wolverine).”“, Green told IGN. “I thought, “I think I know what’s going to happen.” And I didn’t know! I didn’t know they would go that far.“
Green continued: “You shouldn’t take it seriously that they dug him up and that it was really him. It felt less like they wanted to change the ending of Logan than they were coming to terms with the fact that they didn’t want to make as good a movie as they thought Logan was, which is a huge compliment! I felt like it was nothing more than a compliment.”
