The trucks have arrived at the main gate of Nine One Hanam, where Suga was found after driving drunk on the sidewalk and falling off his electric scooter. Afterward, the trucks will travel through Seoul on two different routes, spreading the word to fans calling for his departure. We appreciate your interest and welcome pictures of any sightings.

  • “It doesn’t block the road. Not in front of his vehicle. It idles for a while, takes a few photos and then moves on.”
  • “Suga should be removed from the group so that the other members can continue. Otherwise he will constantly stigmatize the group.”
  • “This must be super embarrassing for all the rich neighbors.”
  • “You all think it’s normal to send trucks to members’ residences?! You’re all crazy. I doubt the other six members want to continue promoting as a group after seeing those trucks.”
  • (Deleted comment)
  • “Look at the lane. It’s a merging lane that takes a shortcut anyway.”
  • (Irrelevant comment)
  • “What anti-fan would spend the money to send two trucks though? LMAO. I hope the drunk driver would leave the group. I hope he sees the trucks every morning.”
  • “It must be so frustrating for the other residents there… That’s a bit exaggerated.”

…while others saw them as an inconvenience to the rest of Nine One Hannam’s residents, pointing out that the trucks block a merging lane leading out of the complex.

  • “Just leave the group.”
  • “Great.”
  • “Well deserved.”
  • “But think about it. Suga was never the most talented member, but thanks to being part of the group, he got to live in one of the most expensive apartment complexes of its kind. I mean, it makes sense that he doesn’t want to leave. Haha. Still, I hope he would retire.”
  • “Inconvenience the local residents? LMAO. The fans defending him are obviously slow.”
  • “But what inconvenience do the residents have? The trucks do nothing more than put up posters. They drive past.”
  • “Such a disgrace for the whole neighborhood… Haha. Don’t two other members live there too? But I know they’re in the military right now.”
  • “In fact, this probably works much better than sending the trucks to the company.”
  • “Leave the group.”
  • “If I were a resident of Nine One Hannam, I would be disturbed by the fact that Suga was driving drunk on the sidewalk in front of my complex, with a blood alcohol level of 0.227%, lower than some trucks driving around.”
  • “How do you describe yourselves as real fans?”

Some believed it was “Hating for the sake of hating” and expressed concern that the said “fans” would go too far.

  • “Considering how irritated some fans are, I think the trucks are a huge success. I hope that the fans who defend Suga will leave the fan base with him.”
  • “For the safety of the other residents, his drunk driving case should be treated without any leniency. How would you like it if a drunk driver drove around in front of your house? He should be ashamed. It would be a blessing if he learned anything at all from this experience.”
  • “Look how the trucks pissed some of you off, LOL.”
  • “I hope he retires as soon as possible.”
  • “But what kind of inconvenience? So inconsiderate towards the people who live there.”
  • “This is one of those stops where the trucks stop for a moment. And then they drive off again. So it’s not really an inconvenience for anyone, haha. Don’t worry.”
  • “It’s clear that the trucks are inciting fans to defend the perpetrator. So I think it works much better in front of the BTS residency than in front of HYBE.”
  • “Wowza… are people that serious about an idol group? This whole thing is bizarre.”
  • “I bet this is damn embarrassing for him.”
  • “Yeah, whatever. Just do what you want. What can we do about it now?”

Regardless, @idoitsueit tweeted that a fundraiser has also secured a second round of protest trucks.
