Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Ted Kimmey era begins tonight for the Cocoa Beach Minutemen when they host Father Lopez on Space Coast Daily TV presented by Erdman Automotive.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Coach Kimmey, entering his first season as head coach of the Cocoa Beach High School football team, will look to rebuild a winning program after working wonders at Satellite High School.
Kimmey coached the Scorps for five seasons, compiling a 36-16 record and culminating in his final season as head coach with a trip to the regional finals.
Cocoa Beach hopes to do what it did at Satellite tonight: build a winning team.
The Minutemen finished 3-7 last season. After the season, Cocoa Beach underwent a coaching change.
Last year’s season was also disappointing for Father Lopez, who finished with an overall record of 2-8.
Zach Clark of Space Coast Daily comments on the game.
