Ella Purnell took romantic inspiration for Prime Video’s “Fallout” tastemaker event. Purnell wore a brown Rodarte dress with black lace details at the soiree, held in Los Angeles on Thursday to promote the TV show among influencers and media personalities.
The actress’ silk dress featured a plunging neckline with lace cutouts at the bust, a V-shaped tummy, and short puff sleeves. The ensemble was part of Rodarte’s Fall 2022 ready-to-wear collection, which was inspired by ethereal femininity and ballet. Purnell accessorized the look with gold rings and kept it minimalistic.
Purnell was accompanied by her series co-star Aaron Moten, who opted for a grey suit with wide trousers.
Purnell began her career as a child actress in films such as All We Had to Give (2010) and Maleficent (2014). Over the years, she has been spotted at high-profile events wearing designer outfits, including dresses by Max Mara, Huishan Zhang and Givenchy.
At the premiere of “Fallout” in April, Purnell wore a dazzling purple and green column dress by Miu Miu. At the premiere of “Yellowjackets” in 2022, the actress was seen in a plunging black set from Carolina Herrera’s Pre-Fall 2023 collection.
“Fallout” is based on the 1997 video game of the same name. The series is set in a post-apocalyptic world and stars Purnell as Lucy MacLean and Moten as Maximus. Prime Video is promoting the series ahead of the 2024 Primetime Emmys, which are scheduled for September 15.
