Peter Pan’s Flight has officially reopened at Magic Kingdom!
This popular Magic Kingdom attraction closed for renovations on July 8, 2024 and was scheduled to reopen on August 20, 2024. However, the attraction has opened early and you can soar through the skies on Peter Pan’s Flight again!
Peter Pan’s Flight is an opening attraction at Magic Kingdom and we’re so excited to see it reopen. We stopped by to see if any changes were made during the renovation.

Although Peter Pan’s Flight is open again to all guests, you cannot currently book a Lightning Lane selection on the attraction. We asked a Cast Member and they said you cannot book a Lightning Lane Multi Pass on the attraction until Monday, August 19. Currently, the only way to ride Peter Pan’s Flight is to use the queue.
We noticed that the air conditioning in the queue didn’t seem to be working properly and some of the interactive queue elements were turned off. While we didn’t notice anything new in the queue, one of the scenes on the ride had changed!
The Never Land Tribe’s Thanksgiving scene has been updated. Previously, all of the characters featured in the scene were sitting on the ground, but now a turntable has been introduced and Tiger Lily and her great-grandmother can be seen moving around the festival.

In addition, new motifs have been introduced into the scene. Previously there was a buffalo, a bird and a sun. Now you can see a turtle, the “second star from the right” and a paw print. In addition, a larger drum is played instead of the two smaller drums before.
