ALL THAT REMAINS releases official music video for new single “No Tomorrow”

ALL THAT REMAINS has the official Tom Flynn– Directed the music video for the song “No tomorrow”. The track is the third new single from the Massachusetts metal band, following the release of “Divine” in May and “Let yourself go” in June.

In a recent interview with Radioactive MikeZHost of the 96.7 KCAL-FM program “Wired In The Empire”, ALL THAT REMAINS Singer Philip Labonte spoke about the band’s plans to release a new studio album. He said: “We’ve got a couple of songs out and we’re going to have a full-length album coming out at some point. And I say at some point because I don’t want to tell anyone when it’s coming out. Because we’re not going to tell anyone. When it comes out, it’s just going to show up. So we’re not going to do the big pre-order, blah, blah, blah. It’s going to be, ‘Hey, go to Spotify or go to iTunes and listen right now.’ But there is a full-length album coming. And the wait will be worth it. And I hope that EVERYTHING THAT LIES ABOVE Fans who have had a taste of the new material with (recently released singles) ‘Divine’ And ‘Let yourself go’hopefully they are as excited about new music as we are.”

When asked who produced ALL THAT REMAINSs upcoming album, Phil said: “The record was produced by Josh Wilbur. Josh is known for his work with LAMB OF GODHe worked with MEGADETHHe worked with TRIVIUM. I think he worked with GRAIN. He made all kinds of metal records. He has “The Order of Things”this is our album that came out in 2015. And Josh and I work enormous well together. I feel very comfortable with his opinions and when we write, we come together and write the lyrics and stuff together. And his opinion is something I value very much. And I really think that he knows his craft when it comes to not only getting the sounds that ALL THAT REMAINS but also helps me tell the story that I want to tell. A lot of times when we’re writing, he’ll just say, “So, what’s this about?” And he’ll ask me to tell him the story behind the song. And he’ll just start typing as I’m telling it. And he’ll say, “Okay, cool. I think we’ve got the first verse here.” And then we’ll go ahead and he’ll pick lines or words, things that I’ve said, and put them together in a way that looks cool. And then we’ll go ahead and tweak it a little bit. I’ll change this line or move that one around. And he’s really, really great at pulling out the true spirit of what I want to say. And that’s why I feel really comfortable telling him really personal things. So, like I said, he did. “The Order of Things”but he also did “Victims of the new disease”which came out in 2018, the last record we made with (late ALL THAT REMAINS Guitarist) Oli (Herbert). So, yeah, he’s a great friend, a great producer and I couldn’t be happier to be working with him again. He’s wonderful.”

Published in June, “Let yourself go” Also directed by Tom Flynn (I HAVE THE PRESIDENT, WHEN I WAS DYING, LAMB OF GOD) and can be seen below.

“Divine” marked ALL THAT REMAINS‘ first new original material since the death of Herbert. “Divine” also ushered in a time of rebirth for ALL THAT REMAINSwho is 100 percent independent for the first time in his career and will release future material on his own label — All that remains records.

When “Divine” was made available for the first time, Labonte said in a statement: “It has been a long time since ALL THAT REMAINS released new music. A lot has changed…both in the band, ALL THAT REMAINSand in the world around us. When we lost Oli In 2018 it was difficult to imagine a way forward, six years later I am proud ‘Divine’ with you. ALL THAT REMAINS has been given new life and we owe that to the fans for their support over the years. Without them we wouldn’t be here.”

Six months ago Labonte spoke about the course of the recording sessions for the successor of 2018 “Victims of the new disease” album during an interview with Rock Feed. He said at the time: “Right now I’m sitting in one of the dressing rooms in the Henson (Recording studios) in Los Angeles. It is a historic place (as it was the former headquarters of A&M Records and the location of A&M Recording Studios). I mean, Charlie Chaplin‘s lot is here. Studio A, they have “We are the world” in. They mixed (METALLICA‘s) Black Record here. They mixed (Dr Dre‘S) ‘The Chronicle’ here. So I’m in this amazing place with all this history.

“This is our second trip here to do drums,” he continued. “The first trip we did four songs, and that was in June (2023). And now we’re doing four more, and then we’ve booked another session in March to finish the drums. And that should be the last time with the actual tracking. Everything should be done. We might have a few more little things, like maybe some solo stuff and noodling stuff. But we should be done with tracking by mid-March.”

Why it took six years to ALL THAT REMAINS to finish a new album, Phil said: “It’s taken a long time because – well, I mean, for a million reasons: because of COVID, because we had some legal action with our label. We’re no longer with a label. We’re releasing it ourselves. So we’re self-funding. We’re going to own it, which is a huge milestone. We had a great agreement with our label. We were supposed to have one more record, but they let us go and let us go on our own, which was great. I have a lot of love for Fearless And Concord Music Group and stuff, because they let us do our thing. So that’s great. And we’re going to get it out as soon as possible. We don’t want to rush it.”

Labonte added: “We started the sessions (for the new album) – really, the first time I got together with Josh Wilburwho produces it. Josh Wilburyou know him from TRIVIUMout of LAMB OF GODfrom a lot (of other bands). He has worked with us (before). He has (2015) “The Order of Things”he produced it, he mixed it “Victims of the new disease”so we’re working with him a lot. But he’s here (in Los Angeles), and we started with him – I think it was 2021 when we actually started with him. He first came out and started working on some riffs and ideas. And then we put together our first real song in February of last year, which I did with Josh and wrote the lyrics for a song. It was actually a song that Jason (Richardson, ALL THAT REMAINS guitarist) wrote the whole thing and gave it to us, so to speak.”

Speaking of adding Richardsonthe late ALL THAT REMAINS guitarist Oliver Herbert almost six years ago, Phil said: “He’s super creative, so it’s a lot of fun. And since it’s his debut with us, we wanted it to be right. Not only is it the first record we’ve made without Oliver Herbertand it took us quite a while to get used to the idea and to figure out what it means and what it looks like and everything that had to happen since Oli died. But this is the first record that Jasonwe want it to be right. There’s not going to be any half-assed (songs) on it at all. There’s no deep cuts – nothing. Now we’ve got eight songs on there and there’s zero deep cuts. Every single song we have, it would be OK if somebody else said, ‘Oh, let’s put this one out as the first single.’ That would work as the first single. And that’s a big, big deal. Usually you hear three or four or five songs and you think, ‘Yeah, we’ve got some killer songs on this record. We’ve got six great songs.’ And there’s 10 or 11 songs on the record and you think, ‘Yeah, the others are cool, but we didn’t have the time to do what we wanted with them.’ They didn’t quite turn out the way we wanted, and the record company wants so many songs on the record, so we don’t have time to…’ blah, blah, blah. ‘We’ve got a deadline.’ So in the end you have to compromise, and because we’re doing it ourselves, putting it out ourselves, having a career and we’re super lucky that people are still listening to our music and we still have people out there supporting us, we can take the time to deliver the record that the fans deserve.”

In July 2023, long-standing ALL THAT REMAINS drummer Jason Costa announced his departure from the group, citing “deeply personal” reasons that “have nothing to do with any drama or anything within the band.”

Jason was the drummer on the last six ALL THAT REMAINS Albums: “Overcome” (2008),“For we are many” (2010),”A War You Cannot Win” (2012),“The Order of Things” (2015),“Craziness” (2017) and “Victims of the new disease” (2018). He is one of the few heavy metal drummers who plays exclusively with the “traditional grip”.

Already in March 2022 Costa left ALL THAT REMAINS‘ US tour to “sort out some personal matters”. He was temporarily replaced by Anthony Baronewho previously UNDER THE MASSACRE And Shadow of Intention.

At the beginning of last year ALL THAT REMAINS‘s breakthrough album “The downfall of ideals”was awarded gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales of over 500,000 copies in the United States.

In 2022 ALL THAT REMAINS started “The downfall of ideals” 15th anniversary tour.

“The downfall of ideals” was re-released in November 2021. The bestselling title includes fan favorites such as “This calling”, “Six” And “The air I breathe”.
